About Us
Persatuan Perunding Laktasi Malaysia / Malaysian Lactation Consultants Association (PPM-006-10-14122023) is a national level organisation registered on 14th December 2023, under Section 7 of Societies Act 1966 (Malaysia). Its members are International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC), certified by International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE).
Mission
Our mission is to advance professional growth, education, and advocacy in providing comprehensive lactation care in Malaysia.
This highlights the Malaysian Lactation Consultant Association's commitment to quality and continuous progress in lactation care. It emphasizes the importance of striving for excellence and maintaining high standards in all aspects of their profession. A historical moment: The first Malaysian IBCLC meeting. Here, resolution was reached to establish a national level Malaysian IBCLC association.

In conjunction with IBCLC Day 2024 on 6th March 2024, we are honored to welcome and announce the establishment of the Malaysian Lactation Consultants Association (MALCA).
